mark's
prayer

My God, I trust you.

I trust you and I thank you, and I love you and I want you for everything and nothingness, and more.

For your womb and my grave, for your field that enfolds and unfolds everything and nothingness.

For your movement and your stillness, and for making me who I am and staying with me, in the darkness and the light, in my living and my death, in all moments breath to breath, to infinity and beyond.

And I forgive all, present, past and future, imagined and unimagined.  Your’s is the only true authority.

I surrender all:  myself, all, and everything I have known, loved, or will ever love, in my racing in the light and my quantum stillness in the dark, for I believe more than anything that you are my one true God, maker of all seen and unseen, and that you are worthy of nothing less than my total surrender of heart, soul, mind, and body, and memories of everyone and everything within my spheres.

I believe that you are the wheel of life and more, and that the meaning of life is that you love it…  Love life enough to create it, and your physical and metaphysical “presence,” exceeds the bounds of epistemology and theology.  Further that you love life enough to free it, and release it like soulful bubbles that float through the air colorfully swirling and floating and bursting sometimes like fireworks, sometimes like teardrops hitting ground.

I believe that you are love and more and that you have made space for faith and doubt, hope and despair, and given us the freedom to ask for anything even call to ourselves anything or better.

I believe you are beyond Ontology and that the chicken is the fertilized egg gone to warpspeed at the stillpoint, and finally I am not a solipsist.

So the best that I can do is offer this prayer and say thank you, for all the presence, for all the presents, for all the toys, and for letting some of us see ourselves back into the garden grove my Aspen Grove, with plenty of everything for joy.

I love you, by choice.  Mark
